Marketing Monday Tip: Marketing Consistently

If I had a dollar for every time someone came up to me asking me how to immediately improve their cash flow with marketing, I wouldn’t be writing this blog, I’d be on a beach somewhere drinking margaritas.

Marketing is an ongoing part of your business that needs consistent attention just like your website, your bookkeeping and your client follow-up.

I hate to break it to ya, but there’s no “set it and forget it” option when it comes to marketing your small business. And, shocking, there’s also no magic marketing wand.

But marketing can be magical when you hit your stride.

The key to good marketing is to have a quality product or service, create messaging that emotionally resonates with your audience, and to get in front of your audience consistently.

There’s no amount of marketing that will fix a faulty product or service. If your product or service isn’t selling, then you’ve got a few things to consider:

2. Your target audience – are you serving them?
3. Your product or service. Is this something worth paying for?

If you’re in the business of using sleazy marketing to hide a weak or mediocre product or service, then this blog isn’t for you.

Here, we’re learning how to openly and honestly connect with our target audience to provide them a product or service that will change their life for the better, not guilt them into forking over their dollars in a short term connection. Here, we’re playing the long game.

Anyone who promises you a marketing quick fix or a short-term solution does not have your best interest at heart, they have theirs.
